If you have never created an eBook or digital product yourself, but you have written articles and posted on forums,
you will be surprised and will not believe that you have a digital product in your hands.
You may think that your product must be an eBook, software, or something.
That is normal.
Even though you cannot hold/touch the digital product, the image on the book cover that appears on the website looks interesting and realistic enough to imagine that the digital product is a physical product, while in reality, the eBook is just a PDF or a simple digital file.
This is one example where you can own a digital product by creating an eBook.
But you may be missing the point.
As I said before, if you have written articles and posted on forums, then you already have your own product in your hands.
For example, writing an article.
You can write a 500-600 words article on a topic and put an affiliate link to the website you are promoting in the author’s contact list.
Because no article in the world can be written exactly the same.
Unless you copy it word for word.
How do you market your own articles?
So, your article is your own unique product, in this case, a marketing product in itself.
The next thing you need to do is market your article as you would any other eBook or digital product, and make sure that as many people as possible read it.
One way to do this is to submit your article to hundreds of article directories and thousands of ezine publishers.
If you want fast results that will get your article at the top of the most popular search engines, such as Google, Microsoft Bing, Yahoo!, Yan-dex, DuckDuckGo, Baidu, and Ask.com, etc. within a day or 24 hours, you can pay for article submission services or use article submission software. This will allow you to get your article published more widely in a shorter period of time.
What if you don’t write articles but post regularly to forums?
Take some of the information from your post and turn it into an article.
For example, post a question like “How to rank high in search?”
Then, once you have enough responses, collect the answers and write an article based on the information you have. Then, give your article a compelling title like “7 Awesome Ways to Rank in Search in Less than a Week.”
Include a short promotional message about yourself in your author’s name and you have an article that is essentially your own digital product.
Of course, you don’t usually create an article cover image like you would for an eBook cover. And it may lose the feel of a ‘real’ product, but you can always turn a few of your articles into short reports.
Guess what happens? Many people create images for their reports; you can do the same with articles.
